ACRB bv is an independent "one man networking company" providing specialist services and advice in offshore, harbours and coastal engineering.
"Networking" has a double meaning:
- If necessary, I am able to mobilise additional knowledge and experience within my extensive network of contacts in the research, the consulting and the contracting environment;
- The internet allows effective cooperation with clients and partners.
"Advanced Consultancy" refers to the fact that I am mostly asked to provide specialist services based on my experience and know how, which, I hope, can be called "advanced". At least, I'm getting grey and bold.

ACRB was established in 2001 after a carrier of 6 years with a consulting engineering firm (Witteveen+Bos Consulting Engineers), 10 years with a research institute (WL|Delft Hydraulics) and 5 years as Director of a specialist consultancy firm (Alkyon). With my education as civil and coastal engineer from Delft University of Technology (graduated in fluid mechanics) this provides a solid base for furthering my professional carrier as an independent consultant.
